Therapy Clinic with Tanya Ross

Important Note Before Booking

  • Before trying to book in or purchase any passes, Tanya is unable to take on any new clients for Injury Therapy/Massage at this time due to the current waiting list extending to potentially January 2025.

  • If you would like to be added to the waiting list and are prepared to wait until January 2025 for an appointment, please text or email Tanya to be added for this time. If you need to be seen quickly, due to being so busy, this would not be possible at present.

  • Tanya will update this notice if the situation changes.

First time booking in with the new booking software:
You can book IN CLINIC 1:1 appointments with Tanya easily online via our booking software TeamUP.

All first sessions require a minimum of a 60 minute appointment for pain/injury treatment.

  • Most client’s attending for pain/injury treatment require a minimum of 3 x 60 minute sessions.

  • You can purchase a membership pack to receive a discount on either 3 or 6 prepaid sessions.

  • If attending for any type of massage, an hour may still be needed - contact Tanya to establish what may be an appropriate timeframe prior to booking.

NOTE - Currently appointments are very busy. You are advised to book ahead by purchasing a 3 or 6 pack of 60 min appts (most need at least 3 for any issues) and book in 2 sessions one week apart ideally that suit from the next available, which could be a number of weeks away. Then text or email Tanya to be added to the waiting list for when a cancellation arises and advise of best days/times of your availability. I hope to see you within the first month of contact - I try my best! If this will not work for you, then please do not make a purchase as the system is not setup to offer refunds, only credit on your account. (If we have to issue a refund, it will incur an admin fee so best to see if timings suit you first (see T’s and C’s))

  • Once purchased, book your appointment in from the appointment calendar (note check the dates of the calendar search as it searches in 2 week blocks at a time).

  • All sessions are booked by time and can encompass what you need - any pain/injury treatment, assessment, sports massage, relaxation massage or any rehab or any type of movement training session.

  • Please complete all forms and waivers before attending for your first appointment. One additional health form will be required when you arrive, or you can ask for it to be emailed to you prior.

  • Please contact Tanya directly if you wish to book a 1:1 or group on site session or a live and online session for 1:1, private or commercial groups.

  • You can also download the TeamUp APP to any device for ease of booking and account management.

Thanks to Tanya for getting me on the road again. Bad Achilles injury in September, three months of treatment with TDR and delighted to say I managed to complete the Ballyclare May Fair 10k on Saturday. Highly recommended so thanks again
— W. Bonar
I couldn’t recommend Tanya highly enough. We visited her with my son, who swims competitively with club and Ireland after he broke his shoulder and was experiencing pain and restricted movement. Through her analysis she pin pointed where the issues were starting and over weeks worked on and provided techniques to strengthen and stretch these areas. We had to take it right back to basics but this paid off with a successful swim season and hopefully continued support from Tanya will now build on his progress so far. Thank you!

Tanya can treat acute and chronic conditions involving all soft tissues in the body - muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia, nerves and joints in all areas in the body.

Treatment of every musculoskeletal condition, such as:

  • Back pain and sciatica,

  • Nerve type pains,

  • Shoulder injuries,

  • ITB syndrome, GTPS,

  • Tennis/golfers elbow,

  • Hip, knee and foot pain, eg plantar fasciatis,

  • Headaches, vertigo type symptoms, neck tension,

  • Post surgery including scar work,

  • Any aches & pains - unsure of what or why,

  • and everything else on the list of soft tissue issues - too many to mention! Text or email Tanya to enquire.

I hear it too often “I wish I had tried this type of treatment sooner but I didn't know it would help or it wasn’t advised to me”. Often we get results in reducing pain, increasing range of movement, feeling looser and more mobile, and start to feel muscles work that didn’t before. Ultimately my focus is getting you back to doing what you have had to stop or reduce due to your symptoms, and this can often tie in with reducing or coming off pain medications, of course working alongside GP/Consultant advice. Often it is 3 sessions minimum, but after one we will know if we are on the right track or need to try a different approach. I will give you an honest and clear explanation of the journey and what I feel is best for you to progress. So if you are unsure, book in and let’s try, and you may be surprised at what I can do as it’s much, much more than just hands on treatment and exercises - it’s a holistic approach to your body and short term improvement with an overall long term improvement plan.” Tanya Ross

I just wanted to offer some positive feedback on the back care workshop. I found it to be very informative and practical.  Tanya got us to actually work through the practical advice so we can go back and start using the knowledge now to hopefully make a difference in our work lives.  I’d recommend it to anyone whether they are experiencing pain in their job or not. A very worthwhile course.

G. McCann, Allstate NI (2015)

“Tanya delivered us a very informative workshop on the importance of postural behaviour in the workplace. The session was very engaging and eye opening on how workplace behaviours can have an adverse effect on your physical health over a pro-longed period, with subsequent postural imbalances leading to issues such as back and neck pain. Tanya superbly led a demonstration of different measures you can take to set up a healthy workstation, as well as demonstrate some basic daily exercises which can make a big difference to your physical health. Tanya was fantastic, we would strongly recommend this workshop to other businesses and we look forward to having Tanya back again.”

M. McCord, Rainey & Best (2017)

Pilates for Back Care 1 Hour Online Corporate Training Session:

  • Average rating = 5/5

  • Easy to follow, and sound advice. I found that some aches were alleviated just through this one session. I just need to keep practicing these moves during every day.

  • The content was excellent and very relevant to desk based workers

  • This was helpful and the exercises relieved tension in my neck.

Do You Wish To Use Your Private Medical Insurance?

We are able to treat clients with Healthcare Cash Plans, although we advise you to check that Sports Massage Therapy, or whichever therapy you wish to book for, is included within your policy prior. If other therapies are listed on your policy and you wish to avail of these, contact Tanya if you are unsure if it is a treatment we offer.

What Are Healthcare Cash Plans?

Healthcare cash plans are insurance policies that instead of covering for treatment of acute medical conditions, help pay for the cost of routine healthcare such as going to the dentist, opticians, physio or in some cases, sports massage.

The following private Healthcare Cash plans recognise Sports Massage Association members and VTCT qualified therapists as providers of treatment, and consequently you may be entitled to claim back all, or part of the cost of their treatment (see detail below). You will be required to provide a receipt in order to claim reimbursement, for which Tanya can provide you with specifically post treatment by email.

  • Health Shield: Clients can claim between 50 and 100% of the cost of treatment (depending on plan details) as long as they have selected Health and Wellbeing as one of their benefits. We recommend the client checks with Health Shield prior to treatment to ensure reimbursement of treatment costs.

  • Westfield Health: Only the Mosaic plan covers Sports Massage and then, only if it is a chosen benefit. We recommend the client checks with Westfield prior to treatment to ensure reimbursement of treatment costs.

  • Medicash: Clients can claim between 50 and 100% of the cost of treatment (depending on plan details) as long as they have selected Complementary Therapy as one of their benefits. We recommend the client checks with Medicash prior to treatment to ensure reimbursement of treatment costs.

  • Simply Health: Clients can claim between 50 and 100% of the cost of treatment (depending on plan details; Optimise Plus is covered). We recommend the client checks with Simply Health prior to treatment to ensure reimbursement of treatment costs.

  • H3 Health Insurance: Clients can avail of treatments for injuries with approval from the company for a number of sessions, which may be extended depending on the condition after a treatment review. We recommend the client checks with H3 prior to treatment to ensure reimbursement of treatment costs.
